The audio launch of the latest Malayalam flick, Kalyanam, was held at Thiruvananthapuram’s Kovalam beach on Thursday, Feb 8, 2018. This event saw the participation of many popular movie stars including actor-politician Mukesh, the producer of the film Rajesh Nair and child-actor Shravan Mukesh. Malayalam film actor Unni Mukundan had inaugurated the function.

Rajagopal Aiyer, the CEO of Udaya Samudra, also took part in the event. He said that no development on land would be complete unless efforts were taken to conserve the oceans. Aiyer also requested the public to be part of the ‘Sagar bachchao’ program aimed at cleansing the ocean from Kanyakumari to Kasaragod.

“Ocean pollution, ocean acidification and climate change are three major concerns that have a large impact on the human existence. It is about time that people realise this fact and work towards maintaining the balance in nature,”  Jackson Peter, managing director of Bond Safari, Thiruvananthapuram.
